"The pattern of this bag is very beautiful, intricate and dreamy. I really love the idea of mice, rabbits and swallows swooping and hopping in a field that emulates the fantastical chinoiserie style. But, sad to say, the tote is not very practical. It is rather big and yet strangely light and paper-like, as if it was made from cardboard coated by cotton fabric. The colour / material combination is very delicate and also problematic in terms of how to keep it clean. The care instructions inform not to exposure the bag to moisture so it is rather difficult to wash it if it gets dirty. Considering this, I don't understand why there are no bag feet attached to the bottom corners of the tote in order to avoid its direct exposure to floor surfaces. Also no dust bag was provided. I'm happy with the zipper, but I would like it to cover the entire opening so that there would be no "holes" on the sides in order to avoid small things accidentially dropping off. My honest opinion is that this tote is better for decorative purposes and festive use. The pattern is utterly lovely, but, personally, I would like my bags to be functional alongside their beautiful appearance."
